SKILLS & EXPERTISE
-
As the editorial producer, I create and manage existing web pages for large editorial packages, working with the digital director, executive editor, and the art team to plan packages from ideation to completion.
-
One of my core responsibilities at Glamour is to manage the daily newsletter. At the beginning of the coronavirus pandemic, I created a special edition of our daily newsletter dedicated to the global health crisis. This was the best and most consistent way for us to reach our audience. This newsletter had a 23% higher open rate than our daily newsletter.
-
Another core responsibility of my job is to help project manage Glamour’s cover stories and feature packages. I work across multiple departments to ensure that all cover assets are sent to the PR team and eventually published online under tight deadlines.
-
Crisis management is at the center of my job. Due to the pandemic, the way that I worked and what I worked on changed rapidly. Our team had to rewrite the cover story and PR strategy for a profile on the soccer player, Alex Morgan. The original story detailed plans for her first child’s birth and the 2020 Olympics, but Morgan’s plans for both events were altered due to the pandemic. In March, I had to redesign our cover story layout for the website and newsletter. I also worked closely with the senior social manager and the site director to ensure that captions across all platforms were updated to reflect the profile’s new focus.

KEY ACHIEVEMENTS
Women of the Year 2020
Collaborated on Glamour's 30th-anniversary awards anchor page and first-ever Women of the Year broadcast film. With engagement from Regina King, AOC, Charlize Theron, Gabi Union, Sherrilyn Ifill, and more, all tweeting and linking to the film, we had 2.3m total Twitter impressions on the night of 10/19.
The Way We Love Now
Project managed two new series, Love in the Time of Corona and Coronavirus Diaries, that launched with our March cover story, Alex Morgan Finds the Silver Lining. We had our highest-scale cover in the past twelve months with this release, whose re-framing perfectly encapsulates the team’s effort to adjust and adapt to the new climate quickly.
Communications Deliverables
The projects available for download below, demonstrate three ways I can effectively manage communications for a brand in-house and with media companies.
